From June 21 to 25, Lviv students – graduates of the School of Social Leadership, who formed the Young Council of YMCA Lviv , visited Denmark.
The youth came to the invitation of our partners from the city of Arhus KFUM og KFUK i Distrikt Aarhus. Within a few days Lviv students gained practical management skills, teamwork, leadership … And, of course, they met a Danish youth and walked the city.
In conclusion, YMCA youth councils have signed an agreement on cooperation between Lviv and Aarhus. The contract was “signed” in a creative way – contemporary painting on canvas. In Lviv youth plans a number of interesting social projects and the creation of three clubs, in which we will activate the body, soul and mind.
“Such trips give inspiration, help to see effective work, find and use instruments in the Lviv YMCA as well as seek a successful application in ukrainian realities”, says Volodymyr Berkych, President of the Lviv Youth Council.
