The volunteer space of YMCA Lviv
Our space is located in the center of Lviv, above Ivan Franko Park, in an office center on Iryna Farion Street, 1.
YMCA in Lviv operates and rents the space thanks to the support of KFUM og KFUK i Distrikt Aarhus, Fairbar from Aarhus, YMCA Calgary, and YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit.
In 2024, due to the increased rental costs, we were forced to leave the volunteer coworking and children’s space, abandon the creation of a youth anti-café, and reduce some of our activities with children. However, we were able to retain our office room and large training hall, where we hold singing and acting workshops, masterclasses, youth networking events, film screenings, photo exhibitions, and also provide space for meetings of volunteer organizations.
Our plans
Unfortunately, YMCA in Lviv still does not have its own premises. We continue to move from one rented space to another. Therefore, we are looking for partners to jointly purchase a property for a large YMCA Center.
So, you have the opportunity to help create the YMCA Center and come to Lviv as if it were home!
